Who the hell names their blog “A Slow & Painful Death?

Let’s face facts: From the time we are born, we’re all dying slowly.

Some of us live long and happy lives and then die suddenly and painlessly in their sleep. Others lead a relatively pain free life; then are ruled by pain and disability in their old age. Still others, regardless of whether the are young or old, do just fine until they don’t, then die after varying degrees of time, suffering and pain attributable to their terminal ailments.

I’m none of those people - For the last nine years I’ve lived in a world of pain with a healthy dose of physical  suffering as my disability increases.   It doesn’t matter whats wrong with me - maybe later we’ll have a contest to see who can guess my ailment(s).

As none of what ails me will kill me outright: unless I take matters into my own hands, it could be another 20-30 more years before I finally catch a break and contract something terminal. In the mean time there’s always blogging
